GhostVeil LLC ("GhostVeil," "we," "us," or "our") operates Elexari, an AI-powered language tutoring application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

Account information: name, email address, and profile photo, when you sign in with Google or create an account with email and password.
Learning data: your lesson progress, streaks, known-vocabulary history, immersion settings, and language preferences, so your progress can sync across devices.
Voice and text input: audio you record for pronunciation practice (converted to text and not retained as audio beyond what's needed to process your request) and the messages you type or speak during a lesson.
Billing information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe — we receive confirmation of your subscription status but never see or store your full card number.
Usage data: general app usage such as session activity and feature interactions, used to maintain and improve the Service.
Local device storage: Elexari stores some preferences and progress directly in your browser's local storage so the app works smoothly offline and loads quickly.

3. How we use your information

To provide, operate, and personalize your lessons and track your progress.
To process voice input into text and generate spoken responses, via the third-party providers listed below.
To process payments and manage subscriptions.
To maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
To communicate with you about your account or the Service.

4. Third-party service providers

We share the minimum data necessary with the following providers so they can perform services on our behalf:

5. Data retention

We retain your account and learning data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, billing, or fraud-prevention purposes.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You can also delete your learning progress at any time from within the app's settings.

7. Children's privacy

Elexari is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. International data transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
